11am Update . Course Closed Saturday 1st October.

Having walked the course again at 11am with the Head Greenkeeper I can inform you that it would be both dangerous to individuals and detrimental to the course to allow play today. The Course will remain closed for Saturday 1st October.

The forecast is good and with no rain expected in the next 24 hours the course will reopen at 7.30 am on Sunday 2nd October unless the website is updated otherwise. As I have no intention at getting up at 7am again this weekend could the first players on Sunday please leave the “course closed” signs beside the shoe cleaner.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Saturday 1st Ocotober 2016

As of 7.30 am on Saturday 1st October the course remains closed. It is dangerous to walk on as slippy and would damage the turf. A second examination will take place at 11am and an update will be posted.
